Heesoo is a writer/director with a BFA in Film Production, Directing emphasis from Chapman University. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, and studied Journalism & Broadcasting until she finally took the courage to pursue filmmaking which she always wanted to do. She is imaginative and has a unique way of storytelling. She embodies specific visual concepts with the story and is interested in genre blend and magical realism. Her films are usually dark and beautiful, but they always show hope in the end.
